Press

Lange Nacht der Museen, Berlin, August 2012,
STADTRAND NACHRICHTEN, Online Zeitung für Steglitz-Zehlendorf, von Simone Gogol:

http://blogs.taz.de/prinzenbad/2010/06/

March 2nd, 2002, EENADU, CHENNAI, INDIA:
…..“German artist Carolin Goedeke was brilliant in her performance.”…..
“The Aditya Hridayam” piece of the Alarippu performed by the german dancers received appreciation from the invited guests, like distinguished Bharata natyam dancer Chitra Visweswaran.
The performance of the three german dancers, under the guidance of Rajyashree Ramesh, was consistentliy good.”…..

30. Juni 2002, TAGESSPIEGEL, Berlin:
“Wohin Du Hindu, mitten in Berlin?-

August 2005, BALLETTTANZ, Berlin:
“Shiva tanzt in der Garage”, Frank Weigand
…..“When the lesson is over, after the usual unexpected interruptions, the girls bow and touch the teacher's cane and feet, calling her “auntie”. In their midst is tall, blond Carolin from Germany.
She applied for an Indian scholarship to study Bharata Natyam the hard way – in India.
To do this, you have to be prepared not only for the absolute obedience expected from your guru, but also for the chaos of Indian daily life.
The training is often strenuous and focussed on learning new choreographies, mostly without posture corrections and warming-up.
And mastering it requires years of dedication, learning from your mistakes, and humility.
Carolin came to India to familiarise herself with the traditional roots of the dance for her own experimental work.”…..

6. Juli 2008, WELT AM SONNTAG, Berlin:
“Total befreit beim Yogafestival”, Thomas Gerlach
