Classical Indian Dance
Carolin Goedeke got a scholarship by ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Delhi) for Bharata natyam-Dance at Ponnaiah Lalitakala Academy, Bangalore/ India, Guru Padmini Rao
in 2004/05.
In her Bharata natyam-Dance Programmes, Carolin Goedeke is performing captivating mythological stories about hinduistic gods and goddesses like Shiva, Krishna, Durga and Ganesha.
By explaining the language of gestures which is used in the dance, Carolin Goedeke enables the viewers to understand the backgrounds of India's rich and profound culture and spirituality.
She brings Indian Culture closer to a western audience and sees her works as a “cultural bridge” between the east and the west.


Bollywood-Dance
Carolin Goedeke is choreographing and dancing to the dynamic, cheerful Bollywood-Songs of popular Indian Movies like “Om Shanti Om”, “Dil Se”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “Dhoom2”, “Main hoon na”, and more.
She performs as Soloist, as Duo with Manuela Hoffmann and with her Ensemble “Indischer Tanz Berlin”.
In her creative dance style, she is incorporating elements of classical Indian Bharata natyam-Dance, to portray the characters vey lively, to emphasize the theatrical aspects of dance, and to enhance the fascinating rhythms.
